SAG fashion 2010

Cupcake Chowder presents:
1st annual best dressed at the SAG awards

The title of best dressed goes to Glee star Lea Michele. I loved the color and cut of her Catherine Malandrino gown, and I thought her make-up and hair were flawless. She was gorgeous and youthful all at the same time, and the emerald green color really popped on the red carpet.
1st runner-up goes to SAG nominee Diane Kruger. I thought she looked very elegant in Jason Wu, and the mustard yellow color really works for her. She looked like a Grecian goddess!2nd runner-up is Kyra Sedgwick in a structured Vera Wang gown. I love the steel gray sash that cuts across the bodice, and the jewel embellishments gathered at her waist. Kyra is consistently one of my favorites at award shows.
Honorable mention goes to the always flawless Penelope Cruz. I loved the beading and length of her L'Wren Scott black cocktail dress.
The Miss Congeniality award goes to comedienne Anna Kendrick. I liked her Alberta Ferretti gown (especially the neckline), and I thought it reflected her personality and age perfectly.
Who was your favorite red carpet diva?

Really? You liked the mustard? I thought the gown is gorgeous, but I would pass on the color. I don't see mustard, I see a dehydrated urine color. Sorry, kind of graphic, but I'm just sayin! Hope you day is wonderful! -Suzanne

Alright, alright!! I am sorry I compared it to dehydrated urine. I am now going to go with liver vile (sp?). You know when you thrown up so much and then nothing but yellow comes up. Man, I am on one today. I blame it on the lack of sleep! Please know I am kidding, well kind of! He he! BTW I love your first pick of the GLEE girl! Very beautiful in design and color! -Suzanne

Lea Michelle was also my top for the SAG Awards. I thought she looked stunning. I think the only complaint I have about Kyra Sedgwick is that the bottom horizontal sash makes her torso seem shorter than it really is. I wish that it wasn't there, and that diagonal sash would elongate her even more.
