I recently read Jellicoe Road, and I loved it. Not my usual happy-happy book, but it was written so well and is very intriguing. I read it in one day on our road trip to Nebraska, but then kept picking it up again throughout the next two weeks! I finally had to return it to the library, but it's now on my "books-I-want" list on goodreads.
I am also glad your back!
I am somewhat intreged by Julie Andrews book. I may have to check it out this year..

I of course would have The twilight Series as my favorite books of 2008.
Have you ever read "The History of Love" by Nicole Krauss? That one has lately become one of my favorites. :)
