Forget predictable blockbusters like Transformers or The Proposal, the movie I have been waiting to see this year is the indie romance (500) Days of Summer.
Starring the quirky and cute songbird Zooey Deschanel (Almost Famous) and Joseph Gordon-Levitt (10 Things I Hate About You), this fresh film promises an original screenplay, and boasts a killer soundtrack (The Smiths, Hall & Oates, Regina Spektor, Feist, and Simon & Garfunkel to name a few). Check out the trailer, and let me know what you think. Happy viewing!

ME TOO!!! I don't remember where I saw the trailer, but it instantly became my must-see of the summer. I loved Zooey Deschanel in Failure to Launch (she and Justin Bartha were way better than the leads!)
I love Zooey Deschanel!! This is definitely a movie I think I would like, but I'm not sure Nate would go with me.
I have been dying to see this movie. It looks incredible:)
I want to see it too!
Can't wait! There isn't ever enough chick flicks for me! :)
I've had a huge crush on Zooey since I first saw her on the Sci-Fi channel. Moreso watching her say she loves the Smiths! ;) I'm definitely gonna see this one!
Love it! I have been waiting for it since it was reviewed at Sundance. This is the first time I've seen the trailer. Looks like another "When Harry Mat Sally." Can't Wait.
Aaaw! This sounds like so much fun. And I love Zoe Deschanel. She's a much underused actress.
