The Garden Cottage

I've found it. The house of my dreams. Funny, because I didn't expect it to be located in southern Utah...
My husband and I spent the weekend at the Shakespeare Festival in Cedar City with some friends, and while we were driving through town I spotted this lovely little bed and breakfast near the theater. Of course I had my camera with me, so I jumped out to take some pictures. I really need to take a photography class, because honestly my camera skills (or lack thereof) hardly do this sweet little home justice! It looked like a dainty fairy cottage nestled into a quaint sea of hollyhocks, lilies and climbing roses. The bed and breakfast features such rooms as the "Forget-Me-Not Suite" and the "Lilac Room", and each abode is filled with gorgeous antique furniture and heirlooms. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to stop and take a tour, but rest assured the next time I'm at the Shakespeare Festival I will be staying a night at the Garden Cottage Bed and Breakfast! Happy traveling!

I love the look of it but probably wouldn't want to live in it - unless it was a new house built in that old style. I need modern wiring and great insulation :)

I lived in Cedar City for 3 years and am totally in love with it. It has charm and lots of little places like this. I also adore this place and will also be staying there next time we go down. :)
