9. Concord, Massachusetts. This may seem like an unlikely choice at first glance, however, as an English student, this is the birthplace of American Literature and Transcendentalism. Noted authors who lived in Concord: Ralph Waldo Emerson, Nathaniel Hawthorne, Louisa May Alcott and Henry David Thoreau. I would most likely visit the Wayside and Orchard Houses (where Alcott and Hawthorne both lived) as well as Sleepy Hollow Cemetery, Walden Pond and the Old North Bridge (battle of Lexington and Concord).
8. New York City, New York. Pizza. Broadway. Times Square. Statue of Liberty. Central Park. Empire State Building. Metropolitan Museum of Art. Yankee Stadium. Sex and the City. All in one location!

6. Rome, Italy. Every time I watch Roman Holiday, I can’t help but think of all the great people and places there are to see in beautiful Italy. Particularly the famous Colosseum, Pantheon, Catacombs, Vatican City (Sistine Chapel) and Piazza del Popolo. Bellissimo!
5. Neuschwanstein Castle, Germany. If there are any doubts as to why I chose this particular locale, please reference the picture.
4. Jerusalem, Israel.3. Kyoto, Japan. I have always been very fascinated by the Japanese culture, especially after reading Memoirs Of A Geisha. The beautiful tranquility of temples such as The Golden Palace, inspire awe and reverence for anyone. I would love to visit the Fushimi Inari shrine, watch Geisha perform and partake in a traditional Japanese tea ceremony.
2. Vienna, Austria. Said to be the music capitol of the world, Vienna is a city full of history, opera and art. Home to some of the most famous composers: Mozart, Strauss, Haydn, Schubert and later Beethoven. If I were to make it to Austria, I would eat some authentic schnitzel, visit museums, opera houses and maybe even venture into Salzburg or southern Germany.
1. Great Barrier Reef, Australia. I love snorkeling, and frankly I think there is no better place to do some swimming than the Great Barrier Reef. It’s the largest structure made by living organisms, and is visible from outer space. I would love to dive into its crystal clear waters, feed exotic fish and bask in the warmth of the Australian sun.

What an awesome and eclectic list!! It sounds like you and Mike have some major world travel in your future. How fun! You have the sites so well spread out, you can travel to most of the continents. :D
I love to travel, and we haven't done nearly enough of it lately. But I'll have to come up with my own list now that you've got me thinking about it.
the only place on your list I've been to is Concord, and it's worthy of a place next to all those other exotic locations! We went in autumn, which is gorgeous back east. Just the atmosphere is so different, maybe because of the landscape. The highlights for me were Sleepy Hollow and the Louisa May Alcott house. I didn't get to spend too much time there since I was visiting my dad in Boston, but it was so much fun to feel like I was going back in time in these places with so much history!
DAN HAS BEEN TO 5 AND 10. HE USED TO LIVE IN GERMANY, WHEN HE WAS A KID AND STILL REMEMBERS THAT BEAUTIFUL CASTLE! AND I HAVE BEEN TO 7 AND 10 - I STILL REMEMBER THE BEAUTIFUL BAHAMAS! I WOULD LOVE TO GO TO 5,6. AND 8! PERSDONALLY DISNEY WORLD REMINDED ME OF DISNEYLAND ONLY SPREAD OUT. WHEN WE WERE THERE I LOVED EPCOT AND UNIVERSAL STUDIOS FL. WE ALSO WENT TO KINGS ARTHUR'S DINNER. AN EXCELLENT SHOW OF JOUSTING AND YUMMY FOOD...I WAS LADY LEAH! WHAT A FUN LIST YOU HAVE!!!
PS - HIGH ON MY LIST IS BOSTON AND OTHER EAST COAST AREAS THAT HAVE SUCH RICH HISTORY OF THE UNITED STATES. HENCE BENJAMIN IS NAMED AFTER BEN FRANKLIN.....
