summer roses

I finally figured out what I was going to do for my scrapbooking group's April page exchange. I went to the store with no clear idea in mind, but when I saw the beautiful rose-pattern paper I just fell in love! I knew I had to incorporate the red blooms somehow, and I began to build the rest of my project from there. I constantly find myself creating more of a romantic or whimsical design when scrapbooking, and I like the idea that my pages don't always have to be symmetrical or perfect looking. I can't wait until my real roses begin to burst in the garden.

I LOVE that paper too. I agree, if I did pages, they would probably all look the same.. Floral or Antique. :)
I. LOVE. THAT. PAPER! Do you happen to know what brand it is? It would look so great in my bedroom. I'm sure I could come up with a project to use it for! Beautiful pages! Monica
super cute. My paper preferences are more contemporary, usually, but I love that flower design!
Monica- The paper is called VH Gracen Flowers from a company called beinspired. I found it on the clearance rack at Robert's. I actually used it a few months ago when I made baby shower party favors for my friend Marie (you can see them in my archives from September 2007 under "Such A Deal of Wonder"). I agree, it's gorgeous!
